Alessandro Fusi

Alessandro Fusi is a researcher in development cooperation, specialising in social economics and development finance. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Florence and a Master’s degree in African Studies from Leiden University in the Netherlands.

His experience ranges from project management to monitoring and impact evaluation, including advocacy, communications, and policy analysis. He has worked in Italy, Belgium, and Kenya for non-profit organisations and international institutions (EU).

For ARCO, he contributes to the Social Economy and Sustainability Management Unit, leading research and consulting projects related to social entrepreneurship, impact evaluation, and sustainability reporting in Italy and other countries such as Senegal, Tunisia, Palestine, and Azerbaijan.

He also collaborates with the Grants & Tenders Unit, where he scouts for funding opportunities and supports application processes.

He is fluent in English and French.
