Matteo Belletti
Matteo Belletti’s research focuses on local development, migration, evaluation, and social impact assessment. Since 2017, as a researcher at the ARCO research centre, he has contributed to numerous international projects – in collaboration with institutions such as IOM, UN-Habitat, and Oxfam – as well as national projects, supporting local governments and institutions in Italy. He has also carried out several evaluations of initiatives funded by AICS, the European Commission, DG HOME, DG INTPA, and ENI CBC MED.
He holds a degree in Development Economics from the University of Florence and, in 2018, earned a Master’s in Management of the Reception System for Asylum Seekers and Refugees from the same university. In 2016, he worked at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Madrid, where he contributed to Spanish and European projects on the migration control industry and migrant labor.
He is fluent in English and Spanish.
